„Das Öl, die 12,5 und 25 Farben auf Hahnemühle und Bütte breiten sich in einem deutlichen Abstand in meinem Atelier aus. Ich betrachte diese Welten und Kreaturen aus dem Stand und tauche abwechselnd aus der Nähe ein. Diese schlanken Bilder entstehen in Folgen und ich gebe jedem einen Namen. Gehen wir mal davon aus, dass ich zu jedem Bild eine Geschichte zu erzählen habe. Der Vorteil ist, dass jedes Bild es besser kann.“ (english below)

„The oil, the 12.5 and 25 colors on paper and vat spread out at a clear distance in my studio. I look at these worlds and creatures from a standing position and alternately immerse myself up close. These slender paintings emerge in episodes and I give each one a name. Let’s assume that I have a story to tell about every single work of art. The advantage is that each painting can do it better.„
