TOPIA is a radically fragmentary, abstract body of work. Developed step by step between August 2024 and February 2026, it is made up of 25 individual modules. Each one functions as an autonomous fragment and only really comes into its own in interplay with the others. The process of reordering, calibrating, and keeping things open is central – fragmentation becomes the principle.
The overall painting presents itself as a conscious, state‑of‑the‑art snapshot of an ongoing artistic dialogue that I document in parallel through the Veracity Report. From the tension between the autonomous modules, a dynamic emerges that goes far beyond a mere juxtaposition of fragments. With the locking in of the 25th module, TOPIA is complete and visible as one coherent overall painting.

Fragmentarischer Prozess als schöpferisches Prinzip

TOPIA ist ein radikal fragmentarisches, abstraktes Bildgefüge. Das Werk entstand von August 2024 bis Februar 2026 Schritt für Schritt aus 25 einzelnen Modulen, die jeweils als autonome Fragmente funktionieren und erst im Zusammenspiel ihr volles Potenzial entfalten. Der Prozess des Neuordnens, Kalibrierens und Offenhaltens steht im Zentrum – das Fragmentarische wird zum Prinzip.
Das Gesamtbild versteht sich als bewusste Bestandsaufnahme eines künstlerischen Dialogs, den ich im Veracity Report parallel dokumentiere. Aus der Spannung zwischen den autonomen Modulen entsteht eine Dynamik, die weit über ein bloßes Nebeneinander von Fragmenten hinausgeht. Mit dem Einrasten des 25. Moduls ist TOPIA vollständig und als zusammengehöriges Bild sichtbar.
