Created in 2017, Vanilla City belongs to the first group of paintings in which I reimagined earlier drawings through layers of oil paint. The work brings together memory, colour and transformation, allowing its earlier history to remain subtly present beneath the surface. Framed in 2024, it is presented as a complete work.
