Es stehen 12 Plätze inklusive Vollpension (regionale, lokale und hausgemachte Speisen und Weine) im Herrenhaus auf dem Anwesen Clos Mirabel in einer außergewöhnlichen Lage mit Blick auf die Weinberge und die gesamte Kette Pyrenäen Atlantiques zur Verfügung. Wir sind die einzigen Gäste. Ich unterrichte an 5 Tagen je 5 Stunden und bin selbst auch die ganze Woche auf dem Anwesen. Wir speisen gemeinsam und genießen die französische Küche und die Naturweine. Anfang Oktober sind die Farben besonders intensiv, wir zeichnen und malen indoor sowie outdoor. Warme und bequeme Kleidung ist ganz passend. Staffeleien und Materialien gibt es vor Ort. Wir arbeiten hauptsächlich mit Stiften, dann mit Acryl auf festem Papier und Karton. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, kann gerne Leinwände und Farben mitbringen, alles was das Herz begehrt! Kunstbedarf gibt es auch in Pau zu kaufen. Xavier und Rachel sind die Ansprechpartner für Buchung, Anreise und beraten auch, wenn Zimmer unter Freunden geteilt werden wollen. Der Ort ist einfach magisch, die Natur erfüllend gewaltig und gleichzeitig ruhig, der Blick unfassbar weit, so das Herz, und deshalb kommen wir genau dort zusammen, um die Kunst zu leben. In 2023, the Masterclass for abstract painting will take place in the southwest of France. There are 12 places available with full board (local and regional food and wines) in the manor house on the estate Clos Mirabel in an exceptional location overlooking the vineyards and the entire chain of the Pyrenees Atlantiques near Pau, Biarritz and San Sebastián.

We are the only guests. I teach a total of 25 hours and am also myself the whole week on the estate. We dine together and enjoy the French cuisine and natural wines. At the beginning of October the colors are particularly intense, we draw and paint both indoors and outdoors. Warm and comfortable clothing is quite appropriate. Easels and materials are available on site. We work mainly with pencil, then with acrylic on strong paper and cardboard. Those arriving by car are welcome to bring canvases and paints, anything your heart desires! Art supplies can also be purchased in Pau. Xavier and Rachel are the contacts for booking, travel, they also advise if you want to share a room among friends. The place is simply magical, the nature fulfillingly vast and at the same time quiet, the view impossibly wide, so the heart, and so we come together exactly there to live the art.
